Small World

I stopped in at Sissy's Treats & Treasures in Seymour, WI yesterday afternoon. BOOK UPDATE: Sissy's (205 North Main St. Seymour, WI 54165) will be the first store to sell physical copies of It's Ok Not To Cry starting tonight, March 9, 2016!! After talking to the owner about having my book sold there, she looked at the last name and asked, "Any relation to the little older lady who used to walk around town and passed away not that long ago?" I smiled and said, "Yup, that was my mom!"

Come to find out my mom used to walk by her store almost every day when she was opening and stopped to chat for a minute. Some days she would ask if should could come walk through just to check out the fun and neat things. I had no idea! Small world!

A younger gentleman was also in the store and asked to see the book. After looking at it he said his grandfather just passed away that morning and he had a few recent deaths in his family in a short period of time. My heart goes out to anyone going through a loss!

If you are in town, stop by and check out all the fun stuff, grab a cup of soup or coffee! It really is a neat place and supports a LOT of local talent in the community!
