Reflection and Gratitude

This past weekend I traveld to Minnesota with a few friends to attend a service/celebration of life honoring a college friend who had passed away. It was great seeing friends you do not speak to on a daily basis and catching up.
It was also a nice break from the daily routine and weekly routine of life. Like many people in long car rides I find myself reflecting on life, goals, the future. I found myself being VERY greatful for how far I have come in life. I feel like I sound conseded saying that, but I know I should not. You have to be your own cheerleader in life. You should celebrate little milestones and accomplishments in your life because nobody else is going to do it for you.
Making goals is a great way to stay positive in life and help yourself look forward instead of dwelling on the past. Throughout the day I find myself saying "thank you" for even little things. Running water to take a shower, electricity to get ready in the morning and have heat at night, a safe drive to work, all of my friends and family who have been there for me during difficult times.
There is so much to be thankful for in the world. I challenge you to make a list of 10 things you are greatful for and why!
